Panatomic-X was a legendary ultra-fine-grain black-and-white film produced by Kodak from the 1930s through the late 1980s. Beloved by serious photographers for its astonishing sharpness and smooth tonality, it delivered extremely low grain, rich midtones, and a clean, almost creamy look that made it a favorite for studio, landscape, and archival work. Its ISO 32 speed demanded plenty of light or a tripod, but rewarded with some of the most elegant detail ever achieved on 35mm film.
