from 1015 reviewsThese mugs popped up on my Facebook feed. After verifying that the company was legit. I placed an order for a mug with the graphics of the film I used to shoot before digital. The mug holds a large cup of coffee. The printing is very high quality. This mug is not only functional. It reminds folks about my long history in Photography.
My husband is a retired photographer, and I remember him using this film. The coffee mug depicting the film canister is the perfect gift for Father’s Day!
such a great gift for photography enthusiasts
I used all of these emulsions starting in the 1960s as a kid with my photographer grandfather. Those and cut film for his 2-1/4” x 3-1/4” Speed Graphic. Used Royal-X pan in that one as well as in his 4” x 5”
I started shooting New Jersey bicycle races with my father in 1972, the year I turned 10. We'd come home, rewind the Tri-X in our Nikons and head to the basement darkroom to process it, make contact sheets, grease pencil the keepers and print those on 4x5 inch fiber based paper with the Omega B-22XL. Those were labeled on back and mailed to Cyclenews bicycling newspaper in Brattleboro, VT. We made $5 per published photo. This film launched my career at 9 years old. Having this mug is a reminder of my late father who passed in 2021 a few months shy of his 94th. He would’ve loved to have several of these film mugs. They’re more than my favorite films, they’re a zeitgeist of our warmest memories.
These mugs are the perfect size and shape. They're nice and thick to keep drinks steaming hot for a long while. The film theme is cool, unique and precisely applied to the beautiful finish. I bought one and ordered two more. Well packaged and delivery was quick...very satisfied.
These mugs are the BEST! My favorite mug. I started using PX and TX in the early 70’s. These are the films of my youth. When I learned photography and how to create images in the darkroom. My recommendation is to buy two sets of your favorite films, this will become your go-to mug! Well made and has a good feel in my hands! Thank you!
This is the strap I've been looking for. It's just the right size (36") and it already has a broken in feel, super comfortable. Also the brass hardware is a really nice touch. I hope more are made so I can buy some for my other cameras.
I like it, but they are kinda pricey. You should offer a discount for purchasing more than one at a time
Great mug size. Love the color of the print. Also like black interior so it doesn’t look stained.
This is a great souvenir mug for everyone who used to shoot Kodachrome film software. It's really nicely done. I purchased one for myself and one as a gift for a friend who was also a Kodachrome user. We both thoroughly enjoy them!
Great mugs, superbly packaged, fast service.
Love it, thanks!
Back in the 1970s and 1980s, I found that 400 ASA film could be a bit grainy. Once I started to use the 200 ASA Kodacolor film, and saw the quality of the pics it became my main go to color film. A little faster than 100, but not as grainy as 400.
Plus X 35mm film was the most popular film that I used back in the 1970s and 1980s. I shot through many 100' rolls of this film in my Watson bulk film loader. I am planning on getting back into B&W photography after a few decade hiatus and I will be buying a 100' roll of plus X once again for my bulk loader.
