This Contax T2 trucker hat takes the understated model lettering of one of the most recognizable premium 35mm compact cameras and makes it the entire design. The front features the familiar black CONTAX name paired with the outlined red T2, a subtle camera reference that photographers and collectors familiar with the Contax T-series should recognize immediately.

Introduced in 1990, the Contax T2 followed the original T-series concept of putting serious optics and automatic operation into a small, carefully built camera. The T2 used a fixed Carl Zeiss Sonnar T 38mm f/2.8 lens*, autofocus with manual-focus capability, aperture-priority/program auto exposure, DX film-speed recognition, automatic film advance, and a built-in flash. Its body used titanium for the top, front, bottom, and back panels. Contax later described the T2 as a major success, with more than 220,000 units sold and a reputation for helping establish the “deluxe compact camera” category.

The design is offered in two P423 Weekender colorways: Graphite with Black Mesh Back and Tan with White Mesh Back. Each combines the camera-inspired graphic with contrast cording, breathable mesh panels, and an adjustable snapback.
