This 15oz black ceramic mug features a full-wrap tribute to Fujicolor SUPERIA Venus 800 35mm color negative film. The design recreates the green, orange, silver, white, and black 36-exposure cassette artwork, including its ISO 800/30° rating, CZ135 and DX markings, and CN-16/C-41 processing information.
About Fujicolor SUPERIA Venus 800
Fujicolor SUPERIA Venus 800 was a high-speed ISO 800 daylight color negative film introduced in Japan in 2003. Fujifilm built it around its fourth color-sensitive layer and NANO-STRUCTURED Σ GRAIN technology, giving photographers high sensitivity while maintaining fine grain, sharpness, wide exposure latitude, and accurate color reproduction. Its speed made it especially useful when available light was limited or when a faster shutter speed was needed without moving to an even faster film. The 35mm cassette shown here is the 36-exposure version, marked CZ135 and processed in standard C-41 or Fujifilm CN-16 chemistry. Fujifilm kept Venus 800 in its Japanese lineup until shipments ended in 2019, making it one of the later survivors of the high-speed Superia era.

Who It Is For
For photographers who shot Venus 800, collectors of discontinued Fujicolor films, or analog photographers who remember having genuine ISO 800 color-negative options on the shelf. It also makes a particularly specific gift for someone who recognizes the Venus name before the ISO number.
