UPDATE Nov 18: The pins sold out (fast!) and I'm proud and happy to share that I made a donation today (Nov 18 2015) to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for $439, which is 100% of the proceeds minus production costs. I'm also happy to announce that I will be producing another run of 100 pieces, and will continue to donate the proceeds of that run to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The lapel pins will be back in stock on 11/30.
Film is Not Dead! I believe this message so I spread it. Now you can spread it too with this stylish metal enamel lapel pin.
I have something special planned for this limited run of 100 pieces: I am donating 100% of the proceeds to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Their mission is to understand, treat, and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
My reasoning for doing this is very personal for me and something I never talk about. My mom died of lung cancer (no, she never smoked a single cigarette in her life) and my dad died of complications brought about by cancer, and they died within 13 months of each other. It was a very difficult time in my life, and I had my two children after my parents died. It breaks my heart every day that my parents never got the chance to meet my two kids.
To know that there is anyone out there, let alone children, who are suffering from this horrible disease breaks my heart. Since they focus on and treat children, I thought that St. Jude's was the best place for this the proceeds of this lapel pin to go.
100% of the proceeds of this item will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Because this item benefits a charity, discounts cannot be applied to this item.
