So representative of the film rolls used by both my wife and myself as former photographers in news and in sports. A great reminder of the "old days."
I hesitated a bit when I saw these on Instagram but decided I really needed to celebrate the classic films that I used to shoot before going to the dark side - digital. They look even better in the hand than on line and the handle is comfortable and a perfect size for larger hands.
My photography goes way back to the mid 70's so I was completely immersed in film. 4 semesters in college, one cinematography class in England and building my own darkrooms processing and printing everything fro Tri-X to e-6 transparency films and printing Cibachrome. I bought coffee cups from 3 of my favorite emulsions for some nostalgia, and I love them.
I like the size of the cup and the handle fits all four fingers.
These mugs are beautifully done and sturdy too.
Wore this to my local camera shop and I the guy at the counter did a double take when he saw my shirt! Gave both of us a good laugh.
